Yeah I think I’ll take your advice because playing alongside a walkthrough isn’t the most fun experience lol.

did you use YouTube on where to go? I’m at stormveil castle and don’t see how you can beat it without a guide

I only looked up the guide for ranni quest. 99% of the time just exploring. I didn’t beat the 2nd major boss until 60 hours. If you follow the yellow streaks of grace on the map it will guide you in the direction to advance the story

This isn’t true.

You can’t see everything without a guide, but you definitely can beat it and see a lot of stuff.

You guys are late to the party but at launch there were no guides. People were figuring things out on their own or through sharing info online.

What level are you?

Do you have a summon?

Do you have a good shield? (Best early shield is the gold shield the dudes are holding outside storm gate, it’s very much worth going to get that)

You gotta learn his moves and get your dodge timing down. Use the shield for the attacks you have trouble timing.

Once you get the timing it’s not that hard. Be patient, only try to get in one or two hits at a time.

If you can’t take a couple hits from him without dying, it might be worth it to go level up your vigor a bit.

This is a great first boss cause it should kinda teach you what you need to know for the rest of the game.

Gotta dodge that first attack. Are you heavy armored? it makes your dodge slow. Make sure you are “medium weight” or whatever.

You get a moment of invincibility with a dodge. Time it right and dodge toward him get your hit. Retreat and do it again.
