Took me a couple of days and I got lucky on the last try :blessed:

I can't get passed the black knife assassins in Ordina :mjcry:

That place in the snow? There is a torch you can get that reveals their location. After you kill them they do not respawn. The only one you probably have to kill is the one in the middle of town. I think you can light the other candles without encountering the others. I only killed two when i was there.

@Mowgli will cosign this for others...but not for himself because... "truest basketball reasons" - David Stern voice.

Anyone needs to get that extra damage power, be not afraid to two hand wield the p*ssy melee weapon. Triangle/Y + R1/RB

Get comfortable with pattern recognition and dodge ability and:

  • L1/LB guard and counter attack R2/RT
  • Dodge and charge hit when the opp whiffs a heavy attack
  • Dodge and jump heavy attack
  • Dodge, flank and critical hit opp

I'm gonna use 2 hand now that I beat the crucible knight and friends Without being 2 handed. I just couldn't allow you to be the reason I succeeded brother ... I hardly used the shield in the battle. They get to many combos to break my shield so it's almost like what's the point.

I may be even more true and just put the shield away altogether. :wow:

Thanks bro

From the looks of this I need to step my block and endurance game up
It helps, early on. I can't take much damage but my shield can because I find those smithing stones to buff it. Brass shield is my new baby.

Later in the game I'm doing alot of rolling and countering because bosses trap you with attacks that break your shield and then it's lights out.

Regular enemies are more shield friendly

I have started New Game +. Will attempt a full no summons run. (Inspired by what I've observed in watching your run.)

I'm also trying to challenge myself to use a more diverse melee approach. I've stated before that my heavy claymore is my fukking baby. Paired with a dual wield with the blasphemous blade and/or jellyfish shield; I was a full on apex predator in the elden realm.

It's been frustrating but I'm attempting the more elegant straight swords and thrusting spears. (I'm not enjoying trying to master spears AT ALL.)
No
But, I'm also brute forcing myself to figure out parrying. I'm currently running a parrying dagger in my off hand with the Noble's Slender Sword.

It definitely forces a more elegant and dance-like combat style. Think Arya from Game of Thornes. It's also been brutal against bosses since trying to figure out their parry window is proving to be...fatiguing.

But... the light at the end of the tunnel seems like it'll be a very fulfilling and impressive evolution to my combat.

Yes brother. Challenge yourself. Put that big OP mother fukker down.

I may pick up a whip or another weapon if I get get easy access to buying smithing stones.
