Malenia is bullshyt. That waterfowl dance has to be the cheapest shyt I’ve ever encountered in a game.

“I am Malenia, Blade of Miquella”.

I’m hearing this damn quote in my dreams. :unimpressed:

Edit: I beat her 20 plus tries later. S/O to Aspect Crucible of the Horns and Black Knife Tiche for getting me through.:whew:

What in holy mother of fukk is the deal with that spinning attack Melina does…

that might be the most unfair bullshyt move from a From Software boss Iv ever seen and Iv played every one of their games

Run away as soon as she starts that bullshyt up and keep running. She'll do that pause when she's on the ground and leap back up and dash towards you. When she does that roll forward as soon as that dash animation begins.

You'll end a decent distance from her and just run back until you see the barrier-like final slash.

Easy punish everytime.

Elden Ring is utter trash on PC. The amount of stuttering on that bytch and glitches is insane and the game has been out for 2 months. Fromsoft is garbage with PC ports. Might have to play fromsoft games on my PS5.

Am I starting off in the wrong direction? I’ve died 10+ times at the dragon burnt ruins.
I may have to trade this game this weekend:francis:

Stay away from the Dragon Burnt Ruins for now, u may end up somewhere u don't wanna be :whoa:

I'd ignore the Tree Sentinel and head towards the Church of Elleh to start. There's a merchant and a smithing table there u can use. From there head north. You'll figure out the rest after trial and error.

-Don’t take death so seriously.
-99% of the time, you can always run past enemies as an option and it’s the best option so don’t be afraid to bolt
-Follow the direction of the graces on the map, they’ll usually lead you somewhere interesting.
-Level up your goddamn Vigor. Seriously, level up your vigor

You have to run. The thing is understanding that FromSoftware does not want you fighting every major enemy or boss. There are the proper ways to get to certain areas that are blocked by a major story boss fight, or some sort quest items. But there are ways to get around them. I explored all of liurnia of the lakes way before I beat Margit. And that was without looking at anything on YouTube. I saw what looked like a path and followed it after doing some exploring. Which is what the developers want you to do. They said nah to things being on any sort of rails or set structure. If anything you might want to head south to The Weeping Peninsula, which is kind of the starter area. But make sure you stop at 3 sites of grace first and rest, and go to The Church of Ellah, and get Torrent so you can run around and discover, and to run away and run past enemies.
