Y’all seem waayyyy ahead of me I’m still hunting the second boss or whatever. Gotta kill a maiden for the invasion npc and I kinda don’t want to look up how to do it

I’ve been rolling through this blind, so far it’s obviously better than DS3 but Bloodborne is just special to me. Other than that this is definitely one of the best games in recent years

Edit: I’m not buying any new games until midsummer I already know I’m running this bytch back as a mage. The Warrior class from what I’m reading around the net weak? My son is a Confessor, we did a single co op session and his character was tricked the fukk out

That's not exactly what he says. Talk to him again maybe he'll say it again. But yeah, you gotta get kinda lucky and stumble on the spot(s) to get that part done.

if you don’t, you give it to his daughter and it turns her into one of selvus’ puppets, aka a summoning for you. you don’t need her tho. if you find selvus’ secret lab and call him out on it, he’ll let you choose your own puppet from his collection. I chose this option (my boy gave her the potion). and then his daughter pops up later outside of the round table.

Also, if you don't give it to her, and properly finish her quest, she gives you something good. I'll spoiler tag it just in case.

Finishing her quest she'll give you an Ancient Dragon Smithing Stone (+25 stone). Also, The guy you saw at Stormveil stomping on Godrick's body after you killed him will turn into a merchant and sell one (+25 stone) for 20k at this point also). Earliest opportunity to get those. They were my first two and I still have only been able to use one of them.

What happened if you don't hand over Seluvis's Potion to Gideon ?

Give it to Gideon tell selivus you have it to her though and find his secret base in the ruins. You can find nepheli by the village of alburinachs to finish her quest.

Confessor is the wave my guy. But you just have to get blood of a finger maiden. There's a church to the north east of Lake lurina surrounded by worshippers of the flame of frenzy

motherfukker. i need those, can't level up two of my weapons any further at the moment. how far do i have to progress to get her to visit stormveil? right now i'm finishing up ranni's quest. at the lake of rot. but i haven't done anything at the atlus plateau yet. been spending all my time in nokron/nokstreila, and also deepwood depths.

Confessor is the wave my guy. But you just have to get blood of a finger maiden. There's a church to the north east of Lake lurina surrounded by worshippers of the flame of frenzy

i wasn't fukking with confessor after the first 10 hours. but man, glad i stayed with it. it's super versatile. i can play as a mage/melee hybrid using a winged scythe and faith incantations, play straight up melee with dex/faith dual weapons or a shield (100% absorb) and sword combo, or play as a mini-tank with strength/dex/faith power weapons like the godslayer greatsword. every weapon i carry unlocks a different play-style to counter enemy types.took me a while to learn what stats to prioritize tho.

for example, i wish i had prioritized vigor enough to use aleanor's twinblade, but i could always use a larval tear and reset my stats.

Somebody tell me how you beat the Fire Giant. They patched the glitch to make him fall off the cliff. He kills my Mimic before I get him halfway down and then I just exit out so I don't die and lose my Great Rune. I saw that he has a second phase also.

I used Tsige the black knife assassin. His ability pretty much decimates him

Just rush his left leg and avoid his attacks in first phase. In second phase stay close justv avoid the flame aoe attack.

Axe in the right hand and dragon communion seal in the left hand shyt be clutch

I did... And I found a bit boring and got annoyed having to waste XP on unlocking spells... And then hating said spell. Then, respecing. Confessor should be called the Grind Build.

I went back to my cave man samurai build.

It's good, but damn... You having to level up Mind, Faith, Intelligence, and sometime arcane was annoying.
