I can get to 2 stage of Melania frequently but she’s relentless. Might be time for a summon, I hear tiche is good.

I gave in and used a +10 mimic. Beat her my first try. Not proud but not ashamed either. Got the platinum and relieved it’s over.

Something is obviously not right when you go days losing solo but beat it your first try with summon.

Yeah. He stayed talking and didn't do anything. Some of the bosses have been mid.. I've been swung on more by some of the imps than some of the main bosses

I'll have to try Unsheathe. I've been using Nagakiba (Bloodhound's Step) and Rivers of Blood against her. I'll tag Uchi in for RoB cause I just can't give up Bloodhound's Step. Can't believe I didn't think of the Kukri. I've been just running in and getting some licks in at the start of 2nd phase.

I fought her some more before turning it off cause I gotta leave. Can get to 2nd phase pretty consistently now, but just get wrecked once I get there lol. It's taking forever smh. This fight is not fun in the slightest. I will likely never do it again after this shyt. Fitting end to such a shytty area I suppose.

have you tried raptor of the mists? it’s like bloodhound step, but if you activate it when you get hit it teleports you above the enemy so you can do an air attack. and you don’t take damage.

timing is tricky. but when you get the hang of it the extra damage from those air attacks pays off.

I fukk with it. attached it to the nagakiba with a flame affect. even if you miss on the timing, the animation usually means you’ll duck under the enemy attack, unless it’s a thrust.

bhs I keep attached to my claws now, for when I wanna play super aggressive.

It's an open world if a boss or fight is too much go out and kill easier.prey to level up

I think people should play the game however they're comfortable with but this summon discussion is a very bizarre hill to die on.

Thread has dozens of posts detailing "8 million per hour!" rune farming to get over leveled as fukk....a gang of posts bragging about beating bosses with the Mimic, Sword Of Night And Flame, etc. before the nerfs....even quite a few posts flat out telling you how to cheese bosses in order to win....

But cats draw the line at summons?

Look man, I'm not saying use or don't use them. You paid for the game, do whatever you want. But people seem to have more disdain for summons, which is a game play mechanic....then breaking the game via glitches that make the boss die instantly. Which is fukking crazy to me.

Yeah it becomes difficult again once you hit up mountain top of the giants.
