1) Elaine Brown was against the Ferguson protest because it's the one that the feds wanted to curtail. Specifically they wanted to get rid of Darren Seales and his crew. Why did Elaine Brown return and support BLM in 2020 once Ferguson protestors had been replaced by the likes of Patrisse Cullors, Opal Tometi and Alicia Garza? Seems suspect.
Fun fact: In her book "A taste of power" Elaine Brown admitted that FBI agent Jay Richard Kennedy convinced her to join the black panthers. They even had a romantic relationship and she would often meet with him after black panther meetings. While Elaine Brown was a black panther, she was invovled in the skirmish that led to the death of Bunchie Carter and John Huggins. Huggins and Carter (along with geronimo Pratt) were basically the pillars of the black panthers. Once they were gone it was a wrap for them. In fact, FBI documents show that Huggins and Carter were the #1 FBI targets along with Geronimo Pratt. Both died due to Elaine Brown lying that two "US" organization members slapped her. Geronimo Pratt also mentioned that Elaine Brown was an agent (Kathleen Cleaver did as well). I just think it's peculiar how Elaine Brown is a successful landlord in Oakland while other panthers were blacklisted or had to flee .
Shout out to Ericka Huggins and Kathleen Cleaver though. Ericka Huggins and her husband John Huggins ran the free breakfast program that fed tens of thousands of children
. Elaine Brown is still suspect. I just think it;s interesting how all other panthers had to flee on a plane to Cuba yet Elaine Brown was allowed to retire in Oakland and become a prominent landlord? Yeah aight
