He's right breh... the child's extreme behavior is an expression of GID. He didn't want to harm himself for no reason- he wanted to turn himself into a girl. That's classic GID. Your post was about a different kind of self-mutilation, where the person actually wants to hurt themselves.

One of the tenants of excusing early homosexual and/or transgender behavior is allowing your kids to lead you. I wanted to eat chocolate candy everyday and if my parents allowed it, I would have. I threw fits like a lot of young kids and my parents were stern and if I was out of pocket, they would whoop my ass. You can curve behavior through proper parenting. That is something that these alternative lifestyle crusaders don't want to do. They don't want to correct behavior that they do not find wrong. Believe that if this kid was a kleptomaniac, they would correct it and they wouldn't say he was born that way.

I think the pendulum has swung way too far towards the "liberal" aspect of parenting, kids need discipline and direction. You must have had older siblings that you saw take a few whoopings. I'm the oldest and my dad was hard on me to set an example. My younger brother NEVER got whooped. He would cry if my dad raised his voice at him.

I said giving him hormone blockers wasn't about changing his sexual identity. The kid trying to cut off his dikk IS about changing his sexual identity- the kid clearly wants to be a girl. The parents are trying to stop him from rushing down that road with the blockers and therapy.
