Thread title should be changed to “Becky flexed her white privilege and won yet again”

No idea how folks thought a white woman in Texas was gonna take a L to a breh in the middle of MAGA mania. I’m telling you white folks will change laws if it ever compromises white supremacy. If u black follow the laws or we will beat and kill you
Is that true? So why are you letting that happen? Why don't you do something and change that?

Dallas salon owner Shelley Luther WALKS FREE from prison after Texas Supreme Court overrides 'out of touch' judge who jailed her for opening her business to 'feed her kids' during lockdown
  • Shelley Luther, the owner of Salon a la Mode in Dallas who repeatedly defied Texas's stay-at-home order, walked out of jail Thursday afternoon
  • She choked back tears as she was met by crowds of supporters
  • The Texas Supreme Court had ordered her release after she was jailed Tuesday for refusing to close her store during the coronavirus pandemic
  • Texas Gov. Greg Abbott amended his executive order Thursday, removing the possibility for citizens to be imprisoned for violating stay-at-home orders
  • The governor and Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton had both slammed the judge's decision to imprison her and called for the salon owner's release
  • Luther was sentenced to seven days in jail Tuesday after she reopened her salon on April 24 and repeatedly ignored court orders to close up shop

Paxton praised the Supreme Court's intervention mandating her release Thursday.

'The Texas Supreme Court correctly addressed Ms. Luther's excessive punishment and unnecessary jailing,' he said.

Wasting server space complaining about negs
