I personally don't find the humor in this. People have to eat. Her employees more than her and if they're willing to come in and make sure that their kids are fed, more power to them. Bills aren't on hold nor is that mortgage, rent or property taxes. These are flexes of power from the judicial and executive branch. Just read an article this morning about a barber doing house calls locally because his pockets are hurting. The people that call them selfish have a steady gig and checks coming in.

A few weeks ago, a salon owner in Harlem echoed the same sentiment. Many of her employees are trying to figure out how they're going to feed their kids. The service economy is one that is suffering the most. Many people on the Coli don't sympathize because they can't relate. Everyone is WFH and still getting a check. The people who are out of work are the ones who are getting restless. In July, the extended UI runs out. Time is ticking.
