Royal Rumble is so stupid now the way Big E was eliminated by someone that wasn't involved and it's still legal.

Royal Rumble is so stupid now the way Big E was eliminated by someone that wasn't involved and it's still legal.
This has happened so many times...
I don’t like the energy y’all have for edge all of a sudden
dudes career was cut short by a serious fukking neck injury, in his PRIME.. finally gets cleared after fukking years of rehabbing, gets the POP’s of all POP’s, has his first hot feud sabotaged due to a pandemic but still finds a way to deliver a great match in which he gets injured again for an entire year... finally returns again, enters number 1 in the rumble after not having wrestled for an entire year, and not only lasts in rings for the entire duration but wins the shyt... and you nikkas have a problem with it. All of a sudden.
Let him get his last run. He deserves it, straight up. His time is winding down, and he’s clearly put the work in. He’s not out there lesnaring

I know I find it stupid. Even wrestlers who get thrown out can still eliminated someone. Dumb idea.
The age argument is killin' me... if he can still go, he can go.
But I already know, wrestling fans pick and choose when to care about age and shyt like that. Couple years ago, I recall folks were mad that 50 year old Kurt Angle lost to a 34 year old (at the time) guy in his last match.
And lowkey, I feel like if this had been Christian winning it, there'd be way less complaining goin' on.

If Edge can go, that's great but he doesn't deserve a Rumble win in 2020 and a Mania main event when they really need to build up more Main Event-level talent. WWE at some point has to let the past go and not lean on guys who were Main Eventers 15-20 years ago.
I don’t care but damn, spoilers in a title the same night as the ppv? 
This year has been a loss either way, so it makes sense they’d give the win the Edge. In other words, they have nothing to lose right now and not much to gain. Next year once they have people in attendance they can give the Rumble win to Carlito.
But I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a way to drive up Peacock/WWE network subscriptions up for their merger with a more recognizable name.

I just feel like they could have done edge vs reigns regardless of him winning the rumble
edge and reign’s promo work is good enough they could make it work regardless, edge didn’t need the rumble win... and with him being as old as he is and winning from #1 in his first match since like may makes everybody on the roster look bad
