Myself and my own.
"We want black ovaries but pickings are slim."

It doesn't sound right, does it? Let a black man say some shyt like that and see the think pieces that would flood the internet.

It is dehumanising, something the world is comfortable doing to black men.
This is something that never gets enough attention and part of the reason why I think some black men subconsciously tune out some women and whole groups of people entirely, especially when he has something to lose.

She may be disingenuous but why should high-earning black women settle for lower-earning black men when women are naturally hypergamous? Women in other communities don't do this but why should black women? Does her argument as validity? This system economically limits many black men.

Because, fool. The dynamics aren't the same.

An Asian man or White man doesn't live the experience of a Black man in the corporate world. Sure there are some exceptions (thankfully I'm one), but I fully recognize it ain't fair for us across the board.

So a black woman, who should also understand that things aren't as fair for her as they are for a white woman, but still a little more fair bc a black woman is less threatening than black men.

So if a black woman makes 100k and a man makes 75k, she needs to understand that man is likely capable of making much more than that. So don't look down on him.

But fine, go ahead and dump him bc he's not "on your level", but you are gambling with your future, and you may never find all the good things that man would do for you, in someone else

Also, in my work, i see white women everyday making substantially more money than their husbands.

I’ve been saying a lot black women go out of their way to be single mothers. Just look at the Keke Palmer situation. They purposefully choose men who aren’t fit to be fathers, then 18 years later when their child becomes a loser/statistic they turn around say they’re no good black men and black men need to do better.

Now there’s tons of videos and social media posts of black women saying it themselves, so y’all can’t try to shame and insult black men for stating the truth anymore.:sas1:

This!!!

Women aren’t realistic with themselves and the caliber of man within their threshold and the caliber that is outside their threshold.

The average looking woman with a few extra pounds, decent enough job, kids out of wedlock, marginal education outside of high school and average and below credit thinks she deserves the top 5 percent of men.

Meanwhile the average breh getting left on read and ignored. Women better start having more realistic expectations and better discernment before they curve themselves into a lifetime of single and lonely.

The real problem is they're holding black men against a white supremacist society that limits their potential financially and career-wise.

Black women are hired because they're not considered threats generally.

Its going to get worse once the post-affirmative action world settles in too, especially in corporate America.

Black women are living in a social media and entertainment derived world view that obscures the reality of black wealth and opportunity.
women like Eboni are clowns...
but what youre saying is not what women need...
and its the reason why so many are turned off by brothas.

the bolded is how women think/talk...
...a man gets his.

how do you expect your woman to want to be lead by you and youre blaming "white supremacy" for your short comings?

Median income for black women is 36k.

Median income for black men is 43k

2 million white men make 6 figures or more

There are 21 million black women in america

Roughly 7 million black women have college degrees

There are roughly the same number of black men in America.

Roughly 4.8 million black men have college degrees...

I think there's a lot of room room for black couples to have partnership here. :gladbron:

Because some of them, like her, have a shyt personality. Everything we've seen of her and many similar to her, more or less confirms this. Top flight men have all kinds of women, including those similar to her, that they encounter. Those with a decent personality or present a level of benefit to the top flight guy will win out over women like her. If these top flight men are truly slim pickings, then that is an even greater incentive for women like her to better understand what these men want, if she truly wants one. If she is not willing to do any of that, then she should settle.

There are many high-earning black women who can find high-earning black men. In fact, this is common given how often they are around each other via proximity in school coming up, their careers, or in the social circles they inhabit. However, all of that means little if one doesn't understand how things are and how the game is. All too often I see black women not understanding this and missing out then wondering how things went south or looking to try other things (dating out) as a quick fix while overlooking how these things don't really fix their problems and at times, may increase it.
Completely agree.

That’s why it was easier for Black women of a certain caliber before KS blew up the spot :lolbron::mjlol:
But it’s all good.

The truth is, you’re totally right. As a lady, you’re supposed to comport yourself in such a way that you attract “top flight” men (which means you’re going to attract pretty much everyone). This isn’t hard to grasp if you’re raised that way as a young woman.

The trick is to be able to spot out a man who was actually raised to be a gentleman —it’s not all about money. Plenty of men with money who are no good and/or uncultured.

They solely see it as competing for a man, but the truth is, if you’re a “top flight” kinda gal- those men are competing for you as well. Everyone has to compete and they don’t get that.

(I only use her as an example because she’s so visible:
All the guys made a big deal about Lori because she’s beautiful right? So they were all competing for her. BUT guess what- she stays on top of her looks, etc because she knows the guys who may like her will jump to Kendall Jenner, Justine Skye, etc. They’re jumping to cute girls regardless of race. So the girls on that level stay on top of their looks so they can scoop a top dude regardless of race as well)

If you don’t want to compete then, yea- it is what it is. 🤷🏾‍♀️
Just like the men who don’t want to compete. You see the women they are with 🤷🏾‍♀️

kind of.

when you hear/see black women complain about the lack of black men out there...
this is kind of what they're hinting at.

brothas are either in the street...
or they're making excuses (the Coli).

If you dont fall in either camp youll see black women are actually VERY easy to deal with.
