I do think it’s a difference between black men speaking amongst themselves telling each other to step up VS a woman going on the biggest black radio show there is and downing black men
Tbh it doesn’t really matter much to me as long as the person has good intentions but idk anything about this this chick

Myself and my own.
So a person shouldn’t be able to take a potential mates career choice into consideration? I mean I’m not trying to get with a low income woman either:yeshrug:
It shouldn't be the only thing or trump their personality or character like it does for some people. If you want, that's fine but don't complain about it if it ends poorly like it does for some people.

Does she blame white supremacy for it though, or does she blame black men and attribute such things to them being shiftless and lazy?
No she doesn’t. I think we all know ws is the root cause of our issues. But at the end of the day we can only help ourselves. White folks got us in this mess but we are the only ones who can get us out

The conversation in the clips and the original convo she's addressing should be had separately even though they may be intertwined, for clarity.

As others have said she just should've told Iyanla she's a proud gold-digger and titles & class matter to her first. Personality and character comes second.

The fact she's going on tour to defend her stance and muddling it with other issues is ridiculous to me.
People really don't care, she just rubbed ppl the wrong way.

I do agree with that. It bothers me when people like her, educated, who claim to speak the truth but overlook shyt like this:

Ignores stories like this:
Judge faces criticism following report that Black children were illegally jailed in Tennessee county
Then makes it seem like black men are being lazy. She's just part of the problem at this point.

This. She's in her feelings because she took a public L. Then again, this reaction is par for the course for people like her. Instead of keeping it moving or taking the L, she'd rather burn the whole world down. If anything, she's exposing herself as a narcissist and we're witnessing narcissistic rage.

She has every right to her preference. I'm not familiar with the heffa and I don't know how this kicked up so much dust? Did she just randomly attack bus drivers and some bus drivers got upset? Did a bus driver cold approach her? Why would she be using public transportation anyway? Shouldn't she have her own car?

She can have her preference. They just need to shut the fukk up about men having theirs

I didn't buy it because of marketing

I saw it because I was in the bookstore and it looked like a good afro centric book

and so far it is.. I can vouch for this but my purchase had nothing to do with recent headlines
Its the coli breh, it was half jokes..

Wasnt really directed at you but your post set up the thought if that makes sense..
