Key word in my statement is Deep East Oakland. From 65th to 105th that shyt is an eye sore...especially on International/E-14. I bet you wasn't in the Deep if you think it wasn't that badAin't no gentrifying deep east Oakland.

There were always more black folks in Oakland than messicans. It's only recently the population is probably around the same for both. Honestly, Oakland was the "black city" out west. not just NorCal. Los Angeles has never been known as being historically black. Even to this day, if you're in both city'c city limit, You'll most likely run into a black person at a higher rate than in LA. Only places like Compton and Hawthorne were black citys in LA county, but to small.
Having said that LA area as a whole has more black folks population wise.

I googled, I see a normal street with liter every where, just like in front of a lot of streets over there, if you lazy ass nikkaz picked up the trash the streets would look clean
None of that shyt over there is distressed, I was being paid by a real estate company to find distress properties in East Oakland and they barely exists, and if they do they are next to some shyt that has been restored
