I dont live vicariously through artists so i'd be just fine as long as the music was dope :manny: but i know the majority of rap fans subconciously feel like they are the artists they listen to so I understand where you comin from

I bump his first project because it was before he came out. The 2nd project is ok... but not better than the first. At this point I'm a non supporter.

Same with George Michael, his first solo project and the Wham years. Once I came out the closet, his discography stopped. Forever remaining frozen in time.

Opposite for me, i like endless/blonde more, seems more realized in a structural sense, where nostalgia ultra seemed more like demo's to me, i still bump it tho

I pay attention to what artists make after they blow up because they finally have the resources and help to really get the tone they want, a good example would be where Tyler is at now musically, he always wanted to be there but didnt have the resources in the beginning

Earl too, the tracks I've heard over the last 2-3 years feel more like what i always thought his vibe was, especially when you look at his interviews and how he talks on his redbull show, dude is super left field with his word choice and has a specific rhythm of talking that makes him stand out, Vince too

TL;DR: what any artist does in their private time has no bearing on how i view the art

Never gave him a spin.where should I begin?
There are much bigger Earl fans than me on here so they may correct me, but I Don't Like shyt I Don't Go Outside is a short but very solid project. Spoiler alert...it's very dark and kind of a downer. So it may work best to listen to it if you're in an introspective mood. It's definitely a fall/winter type of album.

That may not be the best place to start but when I'm in the mood to listen to him that's usually the one I listen to.

I'm preparing for the true Earl fans to come throwing shyt at me any second and telling me you should start with other projects.

I'm probably in the minority here but if breh uses the migos flow the whole album :snoop:

this sounds like it's gonna be some out there spaced out type shyt, and really I'd just prefer the top tier bars I know he's capable of from breh

as far as the Mach Hommy influence, I haven't listened to any new Mach in close to 6 months but did he switch his flow up to because I can't hear it :manny:

Why would he use the Migos flow?

start with EARL, you''ll get a feel of all his styles
and then go listen to the tracks he had on the odd future tape

jumping on to his 1st or 2nd studio albums might throw you off

I bought Doris and didn’t like one song. He’s been bushed ever since.
listen to his verse on this

Listen
I wish a motherfukkin' would
Brown, I had to put my foot down
So I could pop in the clutch
Your hate palpable, your jaw full of dust
You gon' keep talkin' or are we lockin' it up?
And I'm the type of nikka it ain't never been an honor to judge
You a mouse that the falcon picked up
So disrespect and gettin' checked like the top of the month
I was a liar as a kid so now I'm honest as fukk
And I never passed my mama no blunt, it kept my head straight
Less than deadweight, never been a problem to dump
Look, I just broke up with my bytch cause we ain't argue enough
I keep it dirty as the spliffs my uncle Alchemist puff
I strike a birdie on 'em, while I hit your mouth with the club
I wake up early on 'em, gettin' out the house is a must
It's like a sweaty pit, sweaty sit, countin' your dubs
Either that or you gon' catch me on a mountain with monks
Loungin', ask your girl why her mouth on my nuts
You've been the same motherfukker since 2001
Well it's the left-handed shooter, Kyle Lowry the pump
I'm at your house like, "why you got your couch on my Chucks"
Motherfukker

:ohhh:
