What difficulty are you playing? I started on normal and was KO'ing the AI in the first round. Switched it to hard and the AI parry's every strike, avoids every clinch/TD. The only way I can win is if I am lucky to get it to the ground for the sub(which is super easy once you master is compared to undisputed circle bullshyt) otherwise the CPU knocks me out

Pro. I dropped it to whatever the easiest level was cuz I just wanna work on my subs, but the same shyt happens. You can literally have them wobbling in a Mortal Kombat

animation, shoot for a takedown, and they stuff it 100% of the time.

IDK, maybe you're supposed to hold a button/stick to secure it?

Those with the retail version..

Are there leg kick TKOs in the game?
Are there TKOs at all? Seems like every KO in the demo was a straight KO and there were no ref stoppages
Is there ref more involved? stopagges, timeouts etc
Are there stoppages for cuts or TKOs for cuts?
Do leg/body kicks effect stamina or the ability to throw certain attacks, or slow movement?
Does leg kick or body damage carry over between rounds?
I think you can tko someone with leg kicks, not sure though. I know you can nearly break their leg and they can't walk on it for the round. The ref doesn't do shyt but say it's over smh. There are stoppage for cuts and yes damage carries over but only some of it. Also if you take too much damage in the head you will miss blocks and sometimes take hits even though you're holding the block button

Hold RT/R2 and press a face button to block. When its successful, immediately transition or break the clinch ortherwise you will be stuck in there.

1) No
2) Yes, only GnP tho
3) The refs only stand you up really. And its incredibly broken. You could be working or throwing strikes and the ref may randomly stand you up
4) No. But I dont think thats every been in an MMA game
5) Yes sir. Thats the one thing this game has over THQ. You can no longer throw power hooks all game and get a KO. These dudes online spam strikes out the gate. One parry and a few power strikes and they will get KTFO.
6) Yes. You can rock someone and the round may end. They sometimes come into the next round with their head still damaged bright red

The only thing that is fukked up about this game is the ground. Its broken as fukk. Way too easy to stand up with the click of a button. Way too easy to sweep to a dominant position(you can be in an opponents full guard and they can scissor sweep you into a full mount :what: ) Denying transitions is hit or miss. I do like the submission system tho. Way easier then THQ. But they need to patch that ground game ASAP

yeah you just gotta be patient and time it right it will take some practice, in career mode I came across a ground n pound specialist this dude took me down 21 times in the first round and he could KO you in 2 - 3 hits (yeah I admit I hit that quit button to avoid the loss! lol) but my problem was I was hitting the buttons too fast and my fighter couldn't respond quick enuff so when dude went for a takedown my fighter had one more punch to throw before he would respond to the takedown by then it was too late.
