Take my brother for example. Grew up in the same 2 parent household as me. Only 2 years apart. Similar upbringing. He came out in his mid 20's. My sister and I are straight. Looking back, it was plainly obvious by the time dude was 12-13 that he was different but not different enough for most people to notice or care. Did that happen because he was exposed to some parade or some shyt? Nah. That's just how he was born. If he felt people were more open about it, I'm sure he would've come out much earlier.
