The Wade/Rose acquisitions are working out just like I predicted they would. Last year the Cavs badly needed a scorer/creator who could keep things going with the 2nd unit whenever Lebron sat. The lack of such a player made the Cavs shed points like crazy whenever Lebron wasn't in the game, cost them at least half-a-dozen wins and forced Lebron to play far more minutes than he should have. Especially in the Finals, Cavs got totally wasted in very short bench stints in Game 2 and Game 3 which helped cost the Cavs those games.
People thought the Rose/Wade signings were redundant, but like I said at the time, ain't like you can expect both of them to remain healthy all season, so might as well hedge your bets and take both.
Cavs still need an actual center and an upgrade at starting guard though. Even though TT, IT, and Rose be out, all three are too one-dimensional to be the answer.
