JR, shump, Korver, Wade, Rose, IT that's a lot of guards. Who's minutes getting cut when they all healthy? I'm guessing probably rose
Shump plays the 3 often, or at least he did a couple years back

J.R also showed the capability of playing 3, and he defended the 3 position often in stead of Bron. Shump is probably more likely to stay at 2 if they need to move someone behind Bron in the depth chart there (emergency situation)

GOOD AND CHEAP PODCAST
Low-key this team could have a lot of defenders, way more than last year.

Last year it was pretty much Shump, Lebron, and TT....and that caused them to completely run Lebron/TT into the ground and make them useless on D by the playoffs (though JR finally came back and was an asset on that end by the playoffs).

Now if everyone works out and stays healthy, they have Shump, JR, Cedi, Lebron, Crowder, TT, and Tavares/Zizic who can all contribute on the defensive end.

The big problem is that most of those guys ain't contributing much of anything on offense. Once again, they gotta figure out how many of the minus defenders (IT, Rose, Wade, Korver, Love, Frye) they can play at once.

Golden State is so good because they have five guys who are elite on one end while also being capable-to-elite on the other end too. Every other team continuously playing catch-up because no one can put together five players without at least two of them being weak on one end or the other.

Tigers don't change their stripes..

Fact is the Cavs will have to rely on half court ball, Defense and perimeter shooting if they going to hang with the Dubs..

Cavs nikkas are either old and slow or injury prone..

Curry is going to rape Rose or IT
Klay will rape JR... Wade on him will be a good matchup

KD going to rape Bron and it's no debate

Draymond will keep Crowder on lock

Plus dubs move without the ball.. nobody needs the ball in their hands to be effective..

Now I wanted to see Wade go to OKC that would have been real interesting.

It's obvious Bron is out after this season, Wade on a 1 yr deal and Melo I believe can opt out along with PG being a 1 yr rental..

All them nikkas going to the LA Lakers

Wade coming off the bench as a 6th man

Neither the Warriors nor Cavs played much defense in the finals. Did you see the final box scores? The Cavs big 3 actually consistently outscored the Warriors big 3. The problem is literally no one outside the big 3 except for JR showed up. Korver was brick city. Deron Williams had 5 points THE ENTIRE SERIES and I think 4 or all of his points came in game 4. Jefferson was a walking corpse. The team around the Cavs big 3 was the problem because they gave no help. The Warriors role players performed well and supported their big 3/big 4. The Cavs have a supporting cast that can contribute now. Rose, Wade, Crowder, Green, JR, and anyone else is a far better supporting cast.

And lebron could only sit for 2 minutes a game. The cavs would be up 10 lebron would go to the bench and the cavs would be down 15 in 2 minutes.

And folks wonder why KD looked so good in the finals. shyt there were half qtrs when him and curry were on the bench chewing they finger nails.....and the warriors either extended the lead or didn't lose ground points wise with KD and Curry on the bench.

@Gil Scott-Heroin homerism at an all time high. This nikka is really as corny as they come. Yeah Dwyane Wade playing small time minutes on a deep team is gonna be garbage. :heh:
At this point I really don't see LeBron going West because the West is too strong and only getting stronger. I think he recommits to the Cavs. In which case, Cle should flip that 1st and some cannon fodder for an Anthony Davis or something. That team could handle GS no problem.
I guess some folk just have no self-awareness at all. :hubie:

I don't know how nikkas trying to make this a loss for the cavs for spending only2.3 mil. If nothing else they have a good playmaker and finisher of Wade coming off the bench. I hope they eat this year.
I don't think anyone is making it out to be a loss, just that the move isn't as great as some are making it out to be. Namely, those who didn't watch Wade play last season and those who don't understand fit (we've got some folk laughing at the thought of JR starting ahead of Wade).

I dunno how anyone view this as a negative for both Wade and the Cavs. Granted, he is a better FIT on paper with OKC, but with Kyrie gon and IT being inactive for at LEAST a half-season, LeBron desperately need a Robin to his Batman and having Wade is perfect for him. They already have a set chemistry and regardless that Wade APPEARED to have faded some in skill, his own leadership and experience is more than enough to assist in pushing an already experienced squad that has a lot of depth.
