Yeah that is exactly what I am saying. You saying these nikkas are as good, and more importantly, as impactful as Bron or Wade or Kobe or Howard were coming off their rookie deals?

I think that max deals should be eliminated and guys should get what they are worth.

I guess you missed the part where I referenced those guys coming off their rookie deals. The max is based upon how long you have been in the league. Of course they aren't making what those guys are making now because Bron and co. have been in the league longer and thusly are eligible for higher max deals. However at the same point in their careers they are making the same and that doesn't make sense.

Joe Johnson, Pau Gasol, Elton Brand, Brandon Roy (old contract) are all making LeBron, Wade and Howard money.

As a matter of fact, Andrew Bynum & Rudy Gay are making 16 million this year, LeBron is making 17.

That is exactly what I am saying. At 23 Bron was avg 30, 8, 7 and coming off carrying a squad to the Finals. At 23 Dwight was giving you 21, 14, and 3 blks, he won his 2nd rebounding title and was en route to carrying the Magic to the Finals. At 23 Kobe had two rings and had just put up damn near 30 a night in the playoffs en route to that second ring. Meanwhile Lopez is a center who can't give you 10 boards. Hibbert is a center who can't give you 20 pts. And Harden disappeared in the Finals last year and prior to the contract had made his name as a 3rd option coming off the bench. Not exactly comparable there my man.

Nah, we can judge it because even if they were all making $3 million more that wouldn't be enough. The franchise guys and top 15 are worth a lot more than what they are paid, Pau should not be making $1 million less than Dirk.

Bron & Kobe are realistically worth $50-70 million a season, Howard would have gotten $35-40 million, prime Wade around the same, Bosh would have been $20-25 million.
