Earth to EVF. The amount of players that actually provide that value you can count on 2 hands, maybe 3.
Nah, I think there are many many players worth "max deals"....the issue is that there so many players worth MORE than that to a team.

This is a ridiculous ass thread .. He's being used as a 3rd option on this team..
What he said makes sense, the "max" contracts wouldn't be as big a deal if guys like LeBron, Kobe, Rose and Durant were making $40-50 million a year.
The cap on the max a player can make is the problem, franchise players aren't paid what they are actually worth, while all-stars and big men are overpaid only in relation to what the franchise guys are making.
Yup. Guys wouldn't even be trying to get max deals if the word "max" wasnt' associated with them. Talk about backfiring. The whole point of max contracts was to curtail escalating salaries and save owners from themselves. The result is Brook Lopez and and Roy Hibbert and James Harden getting max deals.
lopez & harden -u saying they shouldnt have gotton a max deal
What's your point? He's routinely regarded as within that group the media and in terms of his compensation.Earth to EVF. The amount of players that actually provide that value you can count on 2 hands, maybe 3.
