Because they asked him...

Keep in mind it was already widely reported that he originally wanted to go to Brooklyn. If he had said otherwise when they asked him yall would be in here calling him a bytch ass liar.

bro i have nothing bad to say about howard, BUT i have seen his ass dance around questions before especially when nikkas was getting pink slips in orlando:manny:

I had been saying from the beginning that Stan and Otis getting fired wasn't on Dwight.

Dwight has always denied that shyt. Stan and Dwight have apparently patched things up and still talk regularly and Stephen A Smith and other guys have BEEN saying that one particular person in the Magic Organization was behind all that shyt and was just blaming it on Dwight.

Is everyone skipping out on the part where he said eventually ending up in LA was a blessing in disguise?

I don't even fault him for wanting to be on the Nets, new stadium, new location, not following in Shaq's footsteps ... but since he's a Laker, as long as he plays well on the court nikka can say he wanted to play in Beijing for all I care.

They caught that part, they just decided to pick that apart to and treat it like a sign he doesn't want to be there...

Since they can't hold stay on that "He wont be able to play till January and he'll never be the player he was before" bullshyt they've just moved on to "He doesn't even want to be in L.A. and he's gonna leave next season".....Just like a predicted earlier this week

It never made sense...His main problem was that the team was regressing and painted themselves into a corner with the roster. Firing Stan and Otis wasn't going to change any of that and Dwight wanted to be on a competitive team right away.

The Magic Organization fired Stan and Otis because they thought it would convince Dwight to stay and when that didn't work they leaked that it was him to demanded they both be fired.

As for him being gone, that's true, but Bynum moved out East.

It's sad that you losers in here play favorites with people that wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire.

Jordan punches Steve Kerr in the eye in practice and he's the GOAT. Kobe tells Smush Parker not to talk to him and he's a bytch.

:wtf: SO YALL nikkaS GOING TO IGNORE THIS POST

I'm a Lakers fan :win:

IMO the Nets deal was trash because the draft picks they would have gotten wouldn't have been good and being stuck with maxed out Brook Lopez isn't a good look. The Nets deal was better that we they ended up getting though.

The best possible deal they could have gotten was either a straight up trade with the Lakers or a three way deal with Houston.

The deal that eventually got made was Orlando's idea. Mitch Kupchak said he figured the Lakers weren't gonna get Dwight then out of the blue Orlando called up with the framework for the final deal.

I think Orlando was trying to gut teams for everything they had but they bullshytted around so much that some teams (The Nets specifically) moved on.

All we needed from Jamison was to bring some scoring off the bench to help improve it. From what I've seen though he's doing nothing but that. He's moving the ball well but he sucks at everything else. I don't know what it is about guys coming to this team and suddenly losing their shot. :why:

As for expectations, hell yeah this team can win a ring, they just have to be able to mesh and get shyt together at the right time. The main weakness are the bench and the coaching.

From what I've seen so far this Princeton offense is just hindering the starting lineup. Just let Nash do what he does best and let everyone feed off of that.

The main reason the Lakers have been doing so poorly in the preseason has been because of turnovers. They commit the turnovers because they're still trying to learn and play in the new offense, those turnovers turn into fast breaks for the other team and the Lakers are horrible at transition D.

Mike Brown has about 15 games to save his job.

Last year Mike Brown got a bum rap. He was taking over a team that had a roster in flux, and he had a short period of time to get his players ready and familiar with his offense....

This year though? He has significant upgrades to the roster in terms of talent and one of the best floor generals in the league......Yet his big idea is to have an offense that takes the ball out of said floor generals hands. :mindblown:
