The poison she pulled out of the badger or whatever that thing was, she put it in they food while they was getting white boy wasted.I was annoyed by the constant flashbacks but it off
did they explained how/why an Atredies killed her brother?

I think he (off screen) tracked down the Atredies that allegedly lied on their family and tried to make him take it back. It obviously didn't go well for him. Basically Valya put a battery in her older brother's back and got him killed. Meanwhile her little sister Tula is the real G of the Harkonen family and got revenge for her brother. They never said why/how the Atredies killed her brother.

Yeah, this didn't work for me tbh...I think it lays the table for the next episode which is probably the true beginning of the Harkonnen's rise to prominence, so it waa a necessity but it was a bit of a choreEp3 is a flashback, I know how much yall enjoy those.
Wait it's only 6? Wow yeah that makes this episode a greater waste. The entire romance and murder of the atredes by Tula couldve been a YouTube extra or some shyt. Not worth showing...I don't know why they would want to make a lore heavy show only 6 episodes. They spent the entire episode setting up that Valya and Tula want to become Bene Geserit to raise up House Harkonnen from within the order. There had to be a quicker way to show that.
