Lenny Dykstra and Roger McDowell for Juan Samuel...the Mets have a long rich history of horrible trades.
Too bad that wasnt the full trade.Was gonna say Jon Gruden being traded from Oakland to the Bucs but I thought it was for just cash but it looks like the Raiders got cash and 21st and rd picks and 2 2nd rd picks. In hindsight it was bad tho.

Didn't really work out for us. I mean, Gruden won a SB with what Dungy created and then he ran the team into the ground.
@ Being an offensive minded coach and having the worst offense in the league.
@ Having a team with 5 QBs that were all scrubs.

Bulls trading Lamarcus Aldridge to Portland for Tyrus Thomas
Knicks trade Tim Thomas, Mike Sweetney (expiring deals) and two unprotected first round draft picks for a washed up Antonio Davis and Eddy Curry.
On top of that, we hand Curry a massive seven year deal, even tho he's been plagued by cardiac problems and was an underachiever his whole career. Curry just so happened to have a banner year when his contract was up (never happens, right?), and Isiah couldnt help himself. Knicks continue to suck, and those picks become number 2 in '06, and number 9 in 07....Aldridge and Noah respectively.
One of the worst trades in sports history, because the assets included were so unnecessary and Curry's fall off was quite predictable.
