I don't have an official PS5 one but mine is a WD Black and on the package it said it supported a PS5 so I'm good. I wouldn't mess with anything but WD, Samsung, or Seagate when it comes to saving important data.

Don’t bother trying it yourself, in fact don’t even power it on. Due to the nature of the SSD, it is almost impossible to do meaningful data recovery especially if you turned it on again. The data may be garbage-collected, the FTL information may be lost, so even if most of the data is still...
