Don't come at me breh. I'm all for medium and small cities needing more people. I'm just saying it's much more complex than "rent". Even affordable rent.

So where the money for down payment? Security deposit? Furniture? Utilities? Food?!

Yes there's $700 apartments but that's only a part of the story. And even with that, you aren't even making that at minimum wage.

Also, $1200 is national average for a 1 bedroom.
Not to mention the cost for relocating to these smaller towns isn't cheap. And if they are older or have a disability they are likely moving away from any sort of support system they have to help them out and at that age it's not exactly easy to meet new friends. Then having to find new doctors. I mean it's a lose lose situation all around and not as simple as just move.
