so will that set a legal precedent in georgia to where if you propose to a chick you have to marry her or pay up?

It used to be if you got to engaged to a woman and didn't marry it looked bad on her, and she was no longer thought to be a virgin. So she got to keep the ring as compensation (which is why you're expected to spend a lot in the ring).

She played herself

:usure:

He played her, and she played herself by allowing it. I am not quitting my job, leaving myself totally dependent on someone when they could just walk away from me like he did. No leg to stand on what so ever. After she found out he was in a relationship before and after he proposed to her she should have known what was up. Commitment obviously meant nothing to him.

Some women don't smarten up
It's disappointing.

Some men don't smarten up either.

some of them have little incentive to smarten up because they figure the cops and the govt will :cape:to the rescue. Sad part it, they don't realize that eventhough they might win in court or the public eye, they still lose overall (she wasted a decade of her life on this dude) and what's even worse is that she probably didn't learn anything so she may repeat that mistake.

This is probably why she went after that 50K because she couldn't keep the house. White dudes need to learn that simp life has huge financial consequences.

"The mortgage deed was in Kelley's name, but because they were not married, she was not permitted to petition a court to award her the home on a temporary or permanent basis, which she could have done if they were married".

She didn't really play herself though.

They got engaged. They brought property together. they had a kid. They made a decision for her to stay at home and take care of the kid while he worked.

Everything they did was in the form of a marriage.

They weren't married though, that's the point. They did all the things like a marriage with no marriage. He brought property, she had no rights to the house. So when he told her to leave that was it. She played herself.

She did play herself. If you are going to stop working then you should be married to insure that he can't leave you high and dry. But I think the money and the ring are pretty good retribution. This also doesn't include the child support he will be paying.

They both lost but...so is life.

Shacking up with a chick you have no intention of marrying is simp like behaviour. Obviously he didn't think she was worthy of marriage yet strung her along. I would've told her to kick rocks years ago and continued to play the field.

Why is it his responsibility to take care of her after a breakup? It was probably her idea to quit working anyway.
