Just outside boston arms in norf landan where mala and vivek hold their bi-monthly night SYSTEM (basically dmz 2.0). but anyway, turned out amit was a special guest appearance


top notch DJ, A+ type of DJ...really killed his set


mala wasn't there cos he's still stateside but vivek called him during the night and put him on speakerphone


was a great night...vivek played a 3 hour set and killed it as much as he could, dubplates upon dubplates, vip's galore etc...i'll always have a soft spot for vivek now after he played stand against war, bun da system and drunken swagger on that godly system rig he's built for that club night...first time i'd heard them out live too...i was brehs

The rest of the night is roots reggae and dub as the warm up for 2 hours and then mala and vivek go b2b for 5 hours



and after saying all this about how good last night was...i'm really about to be done with actively following dubstep outside a couple acts. There is a complete lack of creativity and sense of moving forward. Although I bang on about mala a lot on here, there's ALOT of people including myself who believe that that cuba album is going to be extremely important and will indirectly effect the genres path


because you lot are in the states you really don't get what the vibe is like over here...people are really fed up and bored with the genre

songs just off top of my head...i could literally go on forever with it though (some of the tracks say digital mystikz (which is the duo Mala and Coki) but the songs were actually made by Mala in the sense that the song 'Haunted' is credited under Digital Mystikz but was made by Coki. go on discogs.com and do two searches...one for Mala and one for digital mystikz, and you'll get all the songs Mala has released. Now if you want me to make a post on Mala's unreleased songs I can do that also, but just know there's about 50-60 unreleased mala songs so i'd only write the song names down rather than link the youtube vids if there are any available
