Yay 'Jazz Dub', extra extra personal favorite

I change my mind, 'Daylight Savings' my fave song now, tune is fukking sweet, just pure 'Dennis Bergkamp' class.

Silkie is starting to hone in, on really making graceful, beautiful music, that's the highest level off music making to me. Some of his newer stuff are just full of so much grace, and that heaven soaked Soul glow, and strut. Man is starting to make Sunday music, which to me is the best type of music

Another guy is really touching on that vibe, Kyle Hall.

Mix he did a couple of months ago

I'm just sitting around listening to music right now, and I just realize, how the way we listen to music changes so much, the older we get.

Anyways, some tunes

I'm becoming depressed brehs. What happened to uk underground music? :sadcam: the sh1t collapsed within itself so fast it was like a a stock market crash. There is literally NOTHING exciting going on. I'm being deadly serious too, and it's not like it's just that I'm looking in the wrong places...people I know know who're into different artists and styles from me are saying the same thing! :damn:

The climate has changed a lot, shyt ain't like how it used to be. Gone are the days when something can just grow from virtually nothing, and become a fully fledged scene.

Too many factors killing the Underground, but the main one is no one buying physical formats of music anymore. It drives me mad that producers and dj's don't understand how shortsighted and stupid they are for endorsing all this digital shyt.

People don't understand how bad this has affected shyt, lack of money from selling records, means more producers djing, which really isn't good, producers releasing obvious shyt, because they know what pays the bills. DJ's being scared to play anything that's not a obvious. In general people just taking less chances, because djing and performing are the only ways to make money.

shyt is hard now, you would think the internet and all this shyt would open things more, but it really hasn't. It's fukked up the most important thing record sales. Which funds everything, and for small Underground scenes, that money was everything.

Music as a whole is suffering, but good shyt is still here, but just too much shyt to wade through.

Another important thing, is that the mainstream music of things is in total flux, kinda like the early to mid 80's. There aren't any established mainstream genres like how it used to be. Other than a few, people aren't making in the underground like they used to. So every chance folks get to head into the mainstream world, they do.

shyt is just confusing, but it will sort itself out, trust me on this

The Bruised Ego of Dumb B*tches
I'm hearing a LOT of that industrial sounding Berlin SHEWORKS shyt. Not feeling all of it but some of it is cool (specifically that SHEWORKS shyt). Been into that Om Unit, Kingdom & anything LIVITY comes out with lol. Some other shyt though since we're doing YouTube links -

Stingray313 on Naked Lunch

Young Echo with an LP out that's cool. Few tracks, wasn't too into their mix on FACT though.

This ep is dope to me.

Lot of big names on this production -

Ay, folks. Just getting into this genre really. Idk if I'm really getting into it, but I've been listening to these cats called Glitch Mob. Idk if they fall into this category, but if anyone has any reccs, I'm up for it.

Yea Glitch Mob was one of the early EDM artists I got into. Good stuff. They are very dubstep-esque, but I think their more specific genre is glitch hop.

They have a fairly unique sound, but other artists I would suggest that are similar imo:
Pretty Lights, Bassnectar, Porter Robinson, PantyRaid, NastyNasty. Not quite as similar but maybe some Guttstar, Gladkill, Mimosa.
