Wallace Deen Muhammad knew Brother Ali and was kind to him, he made an effort to always speak to him due to him being somewhat of an outcast in society due to being albino.

The list isn't a joke, it's 1 of the best things ever in Hip Hop, what's a joke is fools going against the list.

I've never heard of this list until this thread.

The intent makes my heart all fluttery but let's not act like a decent effort was put forth in making this Hip Hop.

That's your bad, I've known about it for many years. And there was a decent effort put forth, more than a decent effort, a tremendous effort, they created it, took it to the U.N, KRS-One wrote The Gospel Of Hip Hop book, they started The Temple Of Hip Hop, back in the day the Stop The Violence movement, the Self Construction movement later, I could go on for a long time, but there's been a very commendable effort, but you can't literally make everybody do something, but many of the real dudes had a hand in creating the document of co sign it, KRS lectures about this throughout the world to this day.

"The HipHop Declaration of Peace was presented to the United Nations Organization on May 16th 2001. It was signatured by various organizations such as: Temple Of Hip Hop, Ribbons International, UNESCO and also by 300 Hip-Hop activists, pioneers and UN delegates
In the first place this document recognises Hip-Hop as an international culture of peace and prosperity. It is also a set of principles which advise all Hip-Hoppers on how to sustain the peaceful character of Hip Hop Kulture and to form worldwide peace"

KRS-One once gave a young K-Rino free tickets to 1 of his shows...

"I remember going, and they had the same conventions in Houston. I used to go with Murdah one, we knew we would always see someone famous. Like big artists not wanting to sign autographs. I had this thing, the more I liked an artist, the less I would say to them. My favorite artist was always KRS-One. I was a KRS-One fanatic. In my room, I had 1 whole wall devoted to KRS.

This one concert, C Rock and DBX found out that all the rappers were staying at the Holiday Inn/. Where the Rockets, played, the Summit. We sat up in the lobby, we watched Ice T, Biz Markie, Kool Moe Dee, Eric B & Rakim were the headliners. Krs One walked in, this is my idol. It was surreal. I approached this dude like he had a pistol. This guy was as cool as a fan. He asked us if we going, we said no, we some broke teenagers. So KRS gave us tickets to the show. And this made a huge impression on me. This was a pivotal moment. I already had a record out, but this motivated me that somebody might be able to tell a story about me. That way fans can say that about me. This is over 20 years ago, this is one my life highlights."

Have you ever done a show with KRS?

"No. Back in those days, this was before the popularity of SPC, we were more rap fans than anything. We would always go to his shows. That’s one of the people that I’ve always wanted to work with. And he still so active. Probably more so than ever. I know it s a possibility that maybe one day we could put something down together. You can’t treat people bad; these are the very people that allow you to eat."

IT IS said that Grammy award-winning American hip-hop artist and rapper Fatman Scoop got his stage name after appearing as the ice cream guy in the music video for the Fugees’ version of the song “Killing Me Softly” in 1996.

Fugees’ vocalist, Lauryn Hill, was said to be such a huge ice cream fan that she kept on shouting “Scoop, scoop, fat man scoop” when she wanted to get a serving of her favorite treat while filming the video.

The phrase “fat man scoop” stuck in the rapper’s mind, and when he (Isaac Freeman III in real life) eventually decided to join the music industry, he thought of using it as his stage name.

Foxy Brown and Lauryn Hill recorded a song together in 2002 discussing colorism in terms of the stigma of having dark skin in the industry and the differences in the public image they both have/had. Song was called "Everyday People". This was recorded already but the album was shelved.(Foxy's album that was supposed to come out in 2003).

KRS-One is a bozo now? :snoop:. See what I mean, you're a complete fraud. Anyway, let's get back to the topic of the thread.

No. He's my favorite rapper all time. You're a dikkhead for going to his cockamamie rap school for freckled dopes that are easily duped by elders with wacky ideas.

You were like 5 when Krs was on fire.

Then why are you disrespecting his movements? And also the Hip Hop Declaration Of Peace considering who contributed to that?. And you have no idea what I did or didn't do, you won't have an idea either. But I will say those ideas were exceptional and am proud to support the Hip Hop Declaration Of Peace, that document >>>>>>>> you and anything you have done for Hip Hop, which going by your character on here is most probably nothing. And I know I was young when KRS was in BDP and early 90's?. So what? Lol. People don't have control over when they're born. I still got to check the music and know about KRS-One so I have respect for him, and don't disrespect him like you just have.
