half a milly wtf
Yeah, he got a big check. Apparently they took a long time to pay out too. It happened when he was a kid and he didn't get that money till he was 18 or so.

Pistol Pete and Suge Knight are very cool.

I dunno. Did that happen after Pun passed or before? I don't think it happened before cause it was not mentioned in the documentary. But that documentary I'm talking about tells pretty much his whole life story before he died. They didn't talk about what happened after his death.
Also his girlfriend/wife was forbidden by her mother to seen Pun. She said she would kick her out of her house if she saw him. So when Pun got his check and bought his own place they got back together again.
yeah it was after, she talked about it a few years back and even said joe and the rest of them aint help
Yeah, that's messed up. Do u know who owns all of Pun's publishing and all that? I heard Joe pocketed most of Pun's money. And after Pun died the whole Terror Squad disbanded so that's probably why no one even bothered to help Pun's wife. Also after he died she went around telling the whole world that he was a wife beater/abusive husband so maybe that's why no one wanted to help her? Who knows...
im not sure about the publishing but i can understand if joe took/has it, but yeah that might be one of the reasons no one helped her but i just found it strange how she could live in a shelter home with the kids after Pun had some success.
Yeah, I saw this recently. Crazy story. Beanie beat the crap out of everybody apparently and Just said, he was lucky not to have been in the studio when it happened. That whole story was cool, the way Just told it.
Yeah they talk about that in the documentary about his life called "Still Not A Player". I got it on DVD. Apparently he broke his foot playing in a construction site or somewhere like that and got a half a mill check from the city. He bought his 1st apartment for him and his wife with that money and then yeah, spent a lot of it on food.
It was actually the medicine that made him gain the weight
Money + Food + Depression = Why Pun Gained Weight, I Never Head Of Medication Being An Issue
