Ski Beatz is from around my way. He was on an independent label and he was a local celeb. Me and all the other wanna be rappers used to challenge him to battles. He actually went a few rounds with me in front of his Mom's crib in like 1990.

His name was Will Ski at the time and he had a crew: Bizzie Boyz. His DJ was ill Mixmasta D (now known a Dana Lucci). Problem was when Ski got discovered and moved to NY, they didn't want Dana cause he weighs about four bills. Dana been making Hip Hop from then til now and he produced some heat.

I was shocked to learn Ski turned producer, but I see why when I peeped Original Flavors early shyt. It was decent but Hip Hop was in it's Golden Era and decent wasn't cutting it.

I am so proud of Ski's legacy. He basically is the pioneer of NC Hip Hop

I met this lawyer the other day from philly who sued will smith twice and won. the first time was cause will lied in an interview and said the og street cat that signed him (cant remember his name) made will sign a contract by force. will said something like the guy put a gun on the table. None of it was true and it ruined the guys reputation so he sued will for slander and I think they settled out of court.

The second time was cause there was originally a 3rd dude with will and jeff. I can't remember this guys name but originally when they were on the way to the studio to record parents dont understand. They tried to figure out how each person gets paid so Will just split it into 3rds for 3 of them. They all helped write the lyrics for parents just dont understand and I think this dude even came up with the parents part. It was orignally like grand parents don't understand because Will lived with his grand parents. This guy had paperwork and everything so he sued Will for his cut and won. This lawyer said Will was an schemeing ass hole and knows how to put on the nice guy persona.

Apparently he broke his foot playing in a construction site or somewhere like that and got a half a mill check from the city. This is not true....BM and slim grew up together...they met their brother gangsta at pops funeral...they knew each other from the streets but didn't kno they were related...gangsta is the only surviving member of the original hotboys...when them 4 nikkas got off the street, the murder rate in the no took a sharp drop
