NORE felt stifiled due to the fact his partner Capone was incarcerated and his lack of confidence in Penalty recordings/TommyBoy/Warner in promoting his need to be a solo artist...NORE according to a recent interview on the COMBAT JACK show bought out the remainding obligations owed to the label on behalf of CNN and went the solo route........which opened him to a fruitful career working with the likes of the Neptunes and others.
