DJ Hollywood , a legendary pioneer in the turntablist craft of hip hop tells the story of giving him the opportunity to play many live historical sets at the infamous Apollo often opening for acts and being the intermission deejay for acts such as Harold Melvin and the Blue Notes and The Commodores....
He also tells the tale of how during some hard times and an effort to make extra cash he approached Gary Fisher about "moving drugs" for him.....and Gary responded in a hostile manner..."your job is to play records and entertain ...and don't you ever fu***** approach me about drugs!"
