Here is my take on it
I have a Ninja 650 bike, a 350Z with the 6 speed and a VW Rabbit for wifey
I like the 6 speed in the Z, but compared to the bike's transmission it shifts REALLY slow. With the bike I can damn near shift without putting the clutch in depending on the conditions. With the Z I have to take my time or it crunches. So I like stickshift but could get behind a paddleshift IF it's obedient and fast. Wifey's car has "manumatic" but it shifts so slow it's fukking pointless.
That said, as a man, you should be able to drive stickshift fluently. nikkas blame feminists for killing manhood but it's laziness and excuse making about shyt like this that is really doing it in. Driving stick well is one of the highest expressions of car control. I have had 6 cars so far, all stickshift. 5 of which were in traffic crazy NYC. Only way I will break the cycle is if I get something like a Porsche with PDK or I get too injured to work a clutch/stick.
