I bought a Carbon 15 when I was 18
The mere fact that you care, says a lot. You are absolutely right. Drinking and driving can kill innocent people.

That is nothing to take lightly.

Be safe my friend

Cant even profile in the car with your arm out the window.

You cant even enjoy the vibe of mellow music in a stick shift.

Only uncoordinated feminine nikkas and females can't, most of my friends and I can face a blunt n drive stick at the same damn time :manny:

That's like sayin you can't enjoy music while walking because you have to keep bending your knees and moving your feet :deadmax:

Is anyone so adept at it that, whilst on a steep ass hill...

they can keep one foot on the gas and the otha on the clutch and just keep it leveled like that?

Seattle got a lot of hills like Grant; so if you clutch game is whack, you're bound to fall back on the auto behind you.

Happened to me once and good thing i didn't have a pistol cuz i was sweating bullets like before the Wizards.

I still suck with manual trannies and i don't think i'll ever cop one, but i does want to get gooder at it.

.

I know what you mean, Capitol Hill is a bytch. But on those steep ass hills, even an automatic will roll back until you give it enough gas.

I can fare better with a manual on those hills than I can an automatic. The real pain in the ass is rush hour on the I5, all that stop-and-go gives your left calf a workout.

Me and my girl both have Jettas with the same turd engine but my car is a manual. Sure it's slow but it's gets me to where I need to go. Meanwhile her car is automatic and it's damn near undrivable because the transmission is so awful.

Whenever I'm driving her car I feel like I'm playing a game of chess with the transmission in order to get it to react how I want it to. In a standard you drive the car in an automatic the car drives you.

honestly, i don't want people to be driving sticks for the most part. most people can't handle it and end up as very dangerous drivers. the key is probably to learn how to drive on a stick and never get used to the simplicity of an automatic. sticks do get challenging when you are on icy hills in the middle of winter w/out snow tires..

The Opposite Of Elliott Wilson's Mohawk
Here is my take on it

I have a Ninja 650 bike, a 350Z with the 6 speed and a VW Rabbit for wifey

I like the 6 speed in the Z, but compared to the bike's transmission it shifts REALLY slow. With the bike I can damn near shift without putting the clutch in depending on the conditions. With the Z I have to take my time or it crunches. So I like stickshift but could get behind a paddleshift IF it's obedient and fast. Wifey's car has "manumatic" but it shifts so slow it's fukking pointless.

That said, as a man, you should be able to drive stickshift fluently. nikkas blame feminists for killing manhood but it's laziness and excuse making about shyt like this that is really doing it in. Driving stick well is one of the highest expressions of car control. I have had 6 cars so far, all stickshift. 5 of which were in traffic crazy NYC. Only way I will break the cycle is if I get something like a Porsche with PDK or I get too injured to work a clutch/stick.
