That's what I'm saying I'm looking at the comments on this project kinda crazy. This shyt is an actual project. They even made the songs where their fukking around feel epic. Might be the best compilation project I've heard in mad years.

- around the bet cypher it was only six of them and 4/6 have become grammy nominated/winning and commercially successful. then you have zay and soulo who will still draw their own respective fan bases consistently. i think he did just fine with who his roster was a the time lol

on the other hand

-revenge of the dreamers is a series that's on it's 3rd album, and all the artists still aren't doing much outside there niche fans. you even got so called fans in here saying they wouldn't play it again. maybe we should wait till one of the dreamers actually gets "exposed" before we start second guessing one of the most successful music execs of this time :mjlol:

100. Top gets way too much shyt considering how successful his roster actually is.

Side note, Bas just got his first Gold Single for "Tribe" which is dope. I like the way Cole has just let his artists grow organically.

the thing about Cole that is kinda different from Top himself as far as letting artists grow organically is that cole can jump on a track like Tribe which had to be a major part of the success of it. top literally just plays the business role. on the other hand Punch has put out some pretty cool features lol

You have a point but I still feel that the black panther album should’ve shine a larger light on TDE artist outside of Kendrick. Zay should be a bigger artist imo. Waiting 3 plus years for albums to release is foolish and Qs recent release shows that.

cmon man lol. BP was a disney worldwide phenomenon .... dot and top's opportunity to show what they can do with music and entertainment in general. a duty that was obviously bigger than tde and rap. it takes a somewhat smart person to know when to use favoritism, BP wasn't the time.

zay doesn't make pop records and he does shyt on his own time. in that case i think he is doing great cuz let's face it, without tde he would be like maxo cream status lol

also while you can cherry pick examples of release delays that you think didn't work out, there are other examples (CTRL and Redemption) where a three year delay didn't prevent grammy nominated hit albums. :yeshrug:
