Album is pretty solid to me on first listen and Cole rapped more then I thought he would.

My only critique is it sounds like one too many JID songs. Not saying he is a bad rapper but I'm not the biggest fan for some reason.

JID the young goat don't be mad.

Ive been in a recording session with 20+ artists once, we recorded alot of stuff and there was also something with Wells Fargo vibe.
I got to say - while recording it felt like the best thing everrrrr, vibes were :whew::damn:
Next few days we heard the recorded version and it sounded like crap.

It's a weird thing but i think it happened here with Wells Fargo :ld:

:mjlol::mjlol::mjlol: Too many chefs in the kitchen would cause that sometimes. Not everything they made was a banger I'm sure and Wells Fargo was one of those tracks but I'm sure they threw it on there as a fun track and them just playing around.

He's a good rapper but for some reason his stuff comes off soulless a little to me or maybe it's something about his voice but I feel he don't be saying nothing too deep or mind blowing in his rhymes.

A few first listen thoughts

-This shyts a vibe. It sounds like you can feel the good studio vibes throughout this. Like they were having fun and happy and it bleeds through the speaker.

-Cole is the best rapper in the game right. Rapping his ass off on every beat. Sacrifice was a moment. But its refreshing to have him let loose like he’s been doing since that Jeezy feature in December 2017.

-Great exposure for Dreamville. Never fukked with Earthgang but they shined on this and so did JID. Very talented artist. Wells Fargo,Swivel and Ladies were examples of that on first listen. Honorable Mention to Cozz don’t sleep on his last album y’all. Best shyt I heard from Dreamville.

- This album will make you hit up Genius to see who’s spitting on some these tracks. Which is a good look imo

-Isaiah Rashad should’ve been on Swivel.

- TDE should’ve done this back in 2013, around the time of that BET CYPHER. Hell black panther album was an opportunity to display more of their labels talent but it was more of the Kendrick Lamar show. Top Dawg lacks the vision to get his not so popular artist exposure ands it’s damn shame.

The documentary made it seem like it was the last track they made.
