He’s a back up pg being given a green light he not built for. He showed a lot after the bad ten games but these last 9 especially last two shows who he likely is especially with Ivey becoming a solid distributor these past two months

Kill still can defend and pass but legit he has to be able to hit open threes

A guard that can’t score is too big of a liability for the pistons to continue having. We definitely found out exactly who Hayes and Stewart are this year no matter what any beat writer says

I remember one of the beat writers was asked who on this team are currently core members and it has consistently been Cade and Stew with Duren and Ivey joining the fold. I think Hayes is a back up point guard who maybe when he himself comes to this same conclusion can become more comfortable. He should also look good with Wiseman because they both are best as pick and roll players

A player with no confidence is worthless. Killian has all the physical tools and technically is very skilled but plays with no confidence, no swagger. Poor mans Ben Simmons

Bagley contract isn’t that bad. Problem is he’s just always hurt.

Killian has regressed after the Paris game like he’s still in his own head after playing so bad at home. I see him puts it together where he can be the Marcus Smart but if his mind can’t get him there then a decision will have to be made.

If the Pistons don’t get Wembanyama he probably gone just due to draft options like Scoot Henderson.

The problem is puppet master Casey pulling dude from the starting lineup during that stretch to be a microwave six man, then placed back into the starting lineup. It worked for the Celtics game but that’s not the flow he built for himself this season. Everything changes when you do that. Can't score? Nah. For a large portion of this season Kill was the best Piston on the floor overall:comeon:

Ivey has been shooting bad all season, playing at one speed at that. Yall was just ready to throw that kid in the bushes a few pages ago:snoop:

Poor man's Ben Simmons means you would take the real Ben Simmons on this team right now:comeon::mjlol:

He can go. He's been given every opportunity to succeed and constantly shows that he ain't it. He's had some stretches where he's looked like a capable NBA player, but after 3 years he ain't shown enough to think he needs to be payed more for another 4 years with the hope that he continues to develop into something consistent and less frail mentally. He can prove all of that with some other teams roster spot:yeshrug:

Even if we became good, there’s no guard on a good team that can’t make an open shot nowadays.

Huh? Who was down on ivey?

Ben Simmons? Huh?
Exhibit A for starters:jbhmm:.

I've been thinking a bit about this too if they don't get Wemby. I would probably think to move Ivey after seeing how it looks first.

There has been Comments from others about Ivey's play as well, whether it's being erratic, funny looking shot and etc. Dude is a rookie without even a full season yet, with a ton of upside. On the flip Kill was looked at as a project out of the gate and so far is playing in his first injury free season (knock on wood), the delayed results seen this year would have been expedited otherwise.

At least let son get a chance to finish out his contract with another full season. I could see yall point if he showed nothing this year. Last year it was " if he doesnt show anything next year then kick rocks". Which one is it? The narrative keeps changing, at first it was son couldn't hoop at all and etc. It seems like cats were just waiting for him to have some rough spots for whatever reason just to feel validated :manny:

Comparison is off base, exactly how is their mentality towards the game the same. Any casual could look at their season highlights and interviews and see that is not the case.

:russ: My comment has nothing to do with being down on Ivey. That's a reply to a question about what if we get the 2nd pick and get Scoot in the draft. That's speaking to the redundancy of the position of strength on the roster and balancing it out. I didn't say anything about ivey's play. Let's not ignore context to support agendas.

Ivey lead the 3rd quarter comeback and gets bench until 5 minutes left in 4th and lead balloned to 17.

Casey has to go.

Tired of every big postup getting ignored by every guard but Ivey. Duran scores 30 against Spurs and hasn’t gotten any touches since. Wiseman scoring around rim efficiently this game an being ignored

Hayes does not belong in NBA. Period

Was legit wondering when Ivey was gonna get put back in the game. Watching Corey Joseph out there turnstiling it up and getting bodied in the post was brutal. Lord please let this horrible season be worthwhile with the reward of a potential perineal all NBA franchise changing rookie and a new and competent coach that ushers in an actual entertaining and winning brand of basketball, AMEN:ohlawd:

I agree now on Casey. I watched this game to see Wiseman and I was pissed Casey ain't bring Ivey back until 5min in the 4th.

Season is over let the young boys cook. I'm convinced now we at least have 10 more wins with someone else
