The early years of the WNBA were great with Swoopes and Leslie. There were a lot of names in women's college basketball that gave the league star power. I don't know what happened but they lost momentum instead of building it.

Hell growing up I knew of lobo, Witherspoon, Tina Thompson, cooper, Leslie; holdsclaw, dawn Staley, that PG chick that died of cancer.

NBA also used to do like two ball at the all Star game.

I haven’t really paid any attention to the league since.

That team was a perfect segue to the WNBA.....the floor dropped soon after.

Part of sports is the excitement. It's just not exciting. I will say I can leave the tv on a WNBA to support them, but I can't sit there and watch a whole game. It's funny how some still try to blame us when we watch more WNBA than women, who don't even watch WNBA like that.

Again, they shouldn't been ran like a high school league with some of the bullshyt they've had to go through, but, they've had games cancelled for concerts because the money is so bad.

It's not about the money, only, but, the fact these venues don't care to ruin their relationship with WNBA says alot.
