FIBA Basketball World Cup over Olympics is some arbitrary nonsense based entirely off of semantics. For one thing, the FIBA World Cup is literally a qualifying tournament for the Olympics - that inherently makes it less of a world championship
. And on top of that, the NBA sends a bunch of roleplayers to the FIBA championships these days. The FIBA World Cup is like the Intercontinental Title A real world cup would be the best teams in every league. But let's be serious. The NBA is by far the best basketball league in the world, with the best players from all over the world. Every country's best player that's worth a damn plays in the NBA.

The entire world does not play in the NBA. Individual players from all over the world play in the NBA. FIBA and the Olympics are world competitions.
Idk how you are saying international talent can’t compete with the NBA when:
1. You just said international players compete in the NBA. Some of the best players are international players.
2. The Olympics was very competitive this year
3. The US barely won with once in a generation level talent like Lebron, curry, KD on the team. I seriously doubt the US will win the next Olympics with these players gone.

Were not talking about USA basketball when we're talking world champs. We're talking about the NBA - a league where all of the best international players are. If players on other international teams could even fukk with the 12th man on an NBA roster...they'd be in the NBA

The title “world champion” does not specify talent level, it specifies the type of competition in the particular league.
Case in point, the USA lost the Olympics in 2004 and the pistons won the title that same year. Were the Detroit pistons world champs that year? No.
Does that mean the Argentina is better than the pistons? No.

He is wrong for the exact reason Draymond said. NBA is the best league in the world. NBA is a league. Olympics is an event every 4 years. It's not the same.
Noah’s whole issue is he thinks because he won the 100m world championships that automatically makes him a star and everyone should adore him.
Fact is most people are indifferent to straight up dislike that nikka. Winning more races won’t change that, his personality is grating. People like athletes and buy their gear because they respect them and often want to be like them. Nobody wants to be like this LGBTQ adjacent nikka Noah Lyles.
American men don’t like him, women are indifferent towards him, foreigners don’t like him. Not even the folks on the USA track team rock with him. Rai Benjamin and Sydney McLaughlin are the most popular athletes in that circle by far. Exactly who is he supposed to be selling shoes to?

Many of his takes are obvious shock value takes for publicity, he consistently lacks self awareness in that he is complaining about or attacking people that show behaviors draymond embodies, his been a fringe top 30 player at best in his peak season in the league and is relevant because of who he plays with not who he is, and he has the entertainment value as watching paint dry.
What do yall like about this guy that has you sharing his content so much?
