The officiating in Game 4 was shocking. That's the only reason they didn't achieve the sweep.
That shyt was blatant
NBA refused to let the Finals be a sweep.
Ya'all got to be the biggest whiners I have ever seen.
Never in the HISTORY of the NBA have I seen this much bytching about a 21-point loss in which the losing team got five MORE free throws than the team that won.
The only time the whole game that the Cavs had a free throw disparity was during the back half of the 1st quarter, and they had already jumped out to a 29-13 lead on the strength of three-point shooting before they even made their fourth freebie. Golden State made 10 free throws of their own the 1st quarter, but couldn't stay in the game because the Cavs hit 24 threes in the game, not because they made 21 free throws (six less than Golden State's 27).
Golden State didn't even get in foul trouble because the fouls were evenly spread - Durant/Curry/Draymond all played ~40 minutes even with getting pulled early due to the blowout, Klay played his normal 35, Livingston played slightly more than average (18 instead of 15) and Iggy played slightly less (21 instead of 28).
Cleveland hit TWENTY-FOUR THREES on 53% three-point shooting, literally the greatest Finals shooting performance ever, while Golden State was a putrid 11-39....and ya'all butthurt fools are STILL talking about the refs.
This wasn't about the refs. Even Draymond talking about the threes, not the refs, and he one of the biggest whiners out there.
Give me the scenario where Cleveland goes 24-45 on threes while Golden State only shooting 11-39 and Golden State still wins.
