It reminds me when people try to compare Michael Vick to Warren Moon or JaMarcus Russell to RG3...All they see is "n1ggas doin sumthin" and feel like they are both running the same exact race...
What I noticed about this forum is we have hardcore fans of hip hop and people that are just fans of music...I dont get why they keep going into these circular arguments with each other when they aren't even into the same thing...

Hip Hop is and has ALWAYS been about competition. You want to listen to Artists being buddy buddy and hugging it out this is not the genre for you. No matter what you all try to say Drake is a hip hop artist, just like Kendrick. They are both in direct competition, even more so because they are the 2 hottest young artists out.
If you are in a profession you strive to be the best in your field. All of those people you listed are rivals and fairly compared to one another. Come on with this kumbaya shyt this is the shark tank, this is what hip hop was built on

Yeah I hear ya.. I think it's actually impossible to say that Drake or Kendrick put out a better or worse record than each other.. Because its all about genre preference...You can compare Gucci vs Jeezy because they both do the same genre..I don't know what to label what Drake is doing breh, but its not hip hop...
