Obviously, it deserves to be there, but I hate that interior design, it's gaudy, cluttered, mixmatched, and the architecture is way too old fashioned, in terms of the exterior, from what I can tell. It looks like a 30 year old's 17 year old self's fantasy.

That's what throws everything off. That style and design language doesn't translate to comfort. It looks like there should be a desk and receptionist here:

Those Kaws Companions don't even look like they're displayed properly with the room's color palette.

The place doesn't look welcoming. It's like throwing some couches or a bed here and trying to relax:

If the house is made to be a big art/display piece that's one thing because there's no regard for function. That bathroom is way too fancy to piss and shyt in. A lot of the decor is too effeminate and flamboyant. As someone said it looks like Liberace's crib:

It's gonna be a hard sell. If it were in LA or Miami the odds of another artist/athlete/celeb taking it would be high. It's that sort of style. But in city like Toronto it would sit on the market for years and years, just like MJ's Chicago house, Tyson's in Conn, or Evander's out in the Atlanta burbs. The amount of people looking for that sort of excess and showiness diminishes the farther you get away from the entertainment hubs. 2/3 eventually sold for fractions of their cost and I think Mike's house is STILL on the market.

That actually makes sense now that I think about it, but I think it just lessens the market some. I haven't seen the houses but it's the same neighborhood as prince, Celine Deon, etc houses and a whole bunch of other big mansions that have really only gone up in price.

With his place being the biggest in the neighborhood, I can see somebody wanting it for that alone. It's in an area where houses are selling for $16/17 million.

I can see the market tightening up, though, mainly because like you said it's not gonna be viable for a lot of rappers, athletes, etc like hidden hills is where they just sound to each other back and forth.

Real shyt and I see it in nikkas all the time at 35 I point out the nikkas that was raised by a single mother . Really it's a sad existence Drake has spent his whole career needed the validation of women and some men . At this age and for a while now I do what makes me happy and gives me me talk peace ...makes easier to deal with women to ...

Damn that’s a nice ass home. I kind of see why dude always whining about being alone. Living in that type of house by yourself most of the time, I imagine, would heighten those lonely simp emotions :russ:

If they think this is gaudy, wait until they see Tom Ford's shyt lol. The price alone is nuts for that penthouse.

I just saw RDJ's episode last night. Their place is super cozy. But that shyt costed more than both of drakes mansion. Like $10mil something.

That bolded part was mainly about Ross bro.

Ross bought this for just under $6 mil

Meanwhile Wiz spent almost $5 on this

But i think he was renting it and how he bought this for $3.4

$2 mil more would have gotten you

And I don't think either one has THAT much more money than the other so it's not like it's outside his price range.

I get it's mainly location but shyt, I would feel a lil silly spending like that and seeing some of these other nikka's places for around the same price. Im guessing they're also easier to sell, but celebs spending way too many millions just to say they live in LA or NYC are silly imo

Location is rule #1 of real estate. Nobody in a $2M 1800 sq ft condo in NY is jealous of someone with a $2M 13,000 sq ft home in Bumfukk suburb...

And Ross’s house is Evander’s old home which was bank owned. Had that been a real sale, it would’ve hit for a few M’s more. Wiz will unload his home easier should he ever choose to. That’s the reason Ross got a deal, that home had been on the market for years

And after reading the interview with this, looks like Drake’s corny ass was intentionally trying to build what will become another “Versace mansion” in how it’s utilized after he no longer lives there...that’s corny given the Versace mansion was organic. And it also works for Miami. Who is going to be partying like that in a wealthy residential Toronto suburb? :dahell:

It doesn't quite look like a home. Loved the yellow room with the comic and NBA statues though everything else looks way too bright and grandiose for me.

It’s a exercise going from room to room in some of the celeb houses man.

Size of like 3-4 football fields. :wow:
