The way songs get pushed on streaming is by adding them to playlists. But it's similar to a song debuting with a lot of spins on radio, or a movie having a lot of screen times at the theater: you can put something in front of an audience and gain a temporary advantage but if the product is bad or people don't care, it's not gonna work. This is how all of Drake's singles have worked: they got put everywhere. Sometimes they become massive hits because the songs are dope and people keep playing them. Sometimes they don't. Recently a lot of his shyt hasn't been hitting on the charts because the songs are meh. But I wouldn't dismiss a Drake hit because it's on playlists lol. A hit is a hit.

We all knew Not Like US was a hit the first 15 seconds into the song. I see no reason to fake streams as this is as organic of a hit there can be. I played it damn near 8x in a row and rushed to watch all the reactions on YT of the track. Brah needs to sit down and accept this L.

Spotify filters streams now so if it was fake then we’d know. Hiss by Megan lost a lot of streams due to that. But I do believe all the labels use bots and stream farms and forces viral moments etc. It’s all marketing.
The other day I saw the live performance which was something like 4xNot Like us. Than my son came back from kindergarten we watched it again
