Come on breh, it's been known that Drake has been in a writing pool since the day he started. The reference track leaking was simply the final nail in the coffin.

And the rest of your post is aside the point of this thread. This thread is about Drake not writing his own shyt and Drake fans not giving a damn.

That's cancer. No ifs and or buts. Drake stans are killing hip hop. That's why they are the worst.

this was a response thread to mine about Drake vs. Meek and Flex. In this situation why we just gonna evade Meek and Flex looking like clowns?

Drake might have a pool of writers for hits but hes penned hits for other artists. We forget Drake as a whole is a musician. I never seen anyone question his pen on 5am in Toronto

I've never seen some shyt like this: ever.

I don't know if people really understand how bad this is for the genre as a whole.

Like I said, in the past I :troll:'d drake fans on this board just for fun. IRL I listened to him. I just knew how soft his fans were and how much they :cape: so I used to do little :troll: shyt to anger @ISOMELO and the rest of them. Just flat out being anti Drake on everything and watching them accuse me of insanity while I got the nikka in my ear sometimes :mjlol:

With this though? I'm not trolling. This is actually problem. This Is seriously not good for Hip Hop. The biggest rapper in the world has been exposed for having ghostwriters and you got a whole bunch of people moving the goal posts AFTER they hear a reference track which he copied word for word. Not only that, but seeing how the masses, celebrities, news reporters, companies, all :cape: without even a second thought. These are the same people who normally love to tear rappers down. They destroyed Kanye for that Taylor Swift incident.

The same media that always talks about how negative hip hop is. White people :cape: for someone who raps about drugs, strippers, guns and uses the word "nikka" more than any rapper in history.

There's something behind that. Not even on some conspiracy theory shyt. There has to be something there. It's unheard of. That's deeper than music. Those Jewish connects gotta be real, or he's just someone who they want to remain the face of a black genre.

Think about it, you didn't see ONE negative article about him at all during this whole shyt. Not one. Not one journalist took the chance to slander him. Every Hip Hop station, website, everyone flat out :cape:

I've never seen some shyt like that. I've never seen the industry or better yet a group of different industries cape in unison for someone like that. Ever.

Dude really was a plant the whole time. It's the only thing that makes sense. From his rapid ascension, to their refusal to let him fall. He's a plant.

I just can't believe how many people are cool with this sh!t now. I knew the spawns of the past generation was an accepting, conforming lot but this is ridiculous. These dudes are actually rooting for a fraud to win, despite the fact that it totally shifts hip hop music, just because they like his music.

Agreed.
As a Nikka that grew up living this Hip-Hop shyt, I just have to :snoop:

Hip-Hop is dead :mjcry:

Drake being essentially a brand that is abusing hip hop to generate lots of money for non-hip hop entities is a separate discussion from Flex or Meek being fukkboys.

Besides, you jumped the gun on the Meek side of things anyway. It's only been like 2 days since Charged Up dropped. :rudy:

Be the same cat defending naS who was exposed for having writers. Who the media push created a false classic and reputation.

Fact is Drizzy or Drizzy's team makes good music. If it ain't about that then I don't know what it is. If hip hop cares about writing then Lupe is your goat.

Sh!t is ridiculous. I just went through a thread where a bunch of his b!tch made stans and apologists had the gall to claim that he's winning and more popular than ever because Flex pump faked and Meek ain't drop a response to quite possibly the weakest diss/response track aimed at another rapper in hip hop history. It's discouraging because I actually witnessed some cats I thought were credible posters in there co-signing the sh!t. How is it possible that you can call yourself an avid hip hop fan and you can claim Drake is winning in this situation? :what:

Facts:

1. Drake got exposed for having ghostwriters.
2. Drake doesn't deny having ghostwriters.
3. Drake drops the weakest track I've heard all month in response to being exposed.

Flex promised something and didn't deliver...so fvcking what? Flex BEEN a corn. Meek ain't drop a diss track yet, but it's just been a couple days since that weak ass Charged Up sh!t dropped. I personally feel that that track was so weak I wouldn't even be mad if Meek did'nt even respond to that garbage. Meek still wins because Drake got exposed as a fraud and responded back with :trash:. Fvck what he's doing on Twitter. Meek been tweeting dumbass sh!t on Twitter since he started that account.

Drake...he's basically an R&B singer now. I don't ever wanna hear this n!ggas name mentioned with credible MCs again. If ya'll wanna keep on bringing up that R&B singers, rockstars, comedians, etc.. have their sh!t ghostwritten ALL the time then go ahead but DON'T try to place this n!gga in talks with REAL MCs again. Compare this n!gga with Rihanna or Tinashe.

And ya'll n!ggas that been listening to hip hop for years, and respect the culture and it's history, need to stop co-signing that sh!t or hip hop as we know it and love is done.

Drake is top 5 pop artist in the world right now.

Drake singlehandedly proved that hiphop ain't important to the masses. (Nobody gives a fukk about the rules etc).

Drake beat Meek Mills not by just responding effectively in a short period of time but by also seeming completely unphased by being exposed for having ghostwriters (hence the last point nobody gives a fukk about hiphop or its "rules)

Meek was sabotaged by Flex. By him putting himself in the mix it made meek look bad by affiliation (hyping up tracks that don't exist, etc).

Meek tweeted instead of keeping it hiphop.

Popularity & status >>>> hiphop rules and skill.

I think its safe to say not even Kendrick could compete against Drake at this point.

I'm living all my dreams out at ovo:mjcry:

I think Flex was sabotaged by Meek not the other way around and Drake seems very phased actually. that song he did seemed rushed and panicked. Lyrics still matter to fans word to Kendrick and that control verse
