Bro that idiot just said depositions are before discovery stop wasting your time. Depositions are literally discovery lmao.

Lawsuit was filed in Texas

Texas has some law called pre-lawsuit discovery

If you want to argue about if deposition is discovery

Cool but that's beside the point, If you are Drake you are not gonna settle for anything less than a big bag, and you got dudes talking about

"well they probably just paid his lawyer fees"

Like Drake needed that.

Straight delusion going on in here.

Like really think about this statement someone as rich as Drake would settle for that.
When you start to realize that you might have a weak case and need to go on for 8 years, corporations much richer than Drake have settled for less.

All am saying tis that we don't know anything except that it's not going to trial.

If a big bag bag is delivered, iHeart will need to communicate this to the shareholders as it's a publicly traded company

Drake and his lawyers would have known all that before they filed the lawsuit

What we do know is he got a bag, because whatever information they would've discovered during that deposition, they didn't want to come out

The number will come out eventually, it always does

Post a link to where it says he got a bag.

"What I'm guessing" would otherwise be a correct statement.

And people file frivolous lawsuits all the time, or in other cases they file a lawsuit and realize that it won't do what they thought given new facts and initial negotiations with the other party's lawyers. There could also be threats of retaliation such as iHeart proving that Drake tried to pay them etc. We all remember when he was sending gifts to Charlamagne to stop being mean to him.

There's a range of possible scenarios. Just assuming one as some known fact is weird

I don't need to post a link, we know it based on the context of the situation and the statement from Drake's lawyers "Both parties are satisfied"

A frivolous lawsuit settled that fast, okay.

I mean you not convincing nobody but yourself
