I'll just say, aside from the bar in Charged Up, I've never seen or heard Drake speak on social/racial issues, in any way. Aside from a "both sides" sounding PR statement on IG from 2016, I want to say, after Phillando Castillo, he was shocked, shocked, by the violence in America.

That doesn't give him a lot of credibility here, not that I think he was mocking anyone, intentionally, just tone deaf, unaware, all of these things, that he has been accused of being, while at the same time capitalizing on many of the same images and stereotypes when it works for his "brand".

And, back to the rap battle, does he drop a track after this, kind of awkward, impassioned little message?
