Drake liked the post too lol. They know this is good for both of them

shyt feels obvious. ppl hyping up both diss tracks. this the most I saw the JBP thread be active for a new episode. Drake gonna get a lot more curious listens because of this. Start a lil discourse, they both eat and become friends again lol

And looking at this thread, it seems most people forgot they even beefed, talked about it, etc and posting old shyt like it's shocking to anyone in touch with both.

The story goes Jay asked Joe to be on the remix and Joe said no. You decline a feature from one of the biggest, pettiest rappers at that time, and what do you expect?

You are really going to compare Def Jam in the early 00s to Aftermath post 50 and Em prime and Suge’s label (which you didn’t even name)?

You can nitpick label situations. Just look at Papoose or Saigon.

Most of these rappers careers, especially in that era were the result of labels and the gatekeepers determining who has next or would get a push

Jay asked for 250K to get on the remix and Joe said he didn’t have the money or budget for that feature. Joe mentioned this again pretty recently on the pod again.

Most real industry insiders have less than 1000 and you don't know who they are. The people that you see and are talking aren't actual insiders. They're talking heads....messengers..

That's fair, but why should I (or anyone) care about an Industry Insider's opinion on something? By definition their only redeeming quality of note is that they know whats going on behind the scenes. This long ass post by this otherwise nobody says nothing :yeshrug:
