You don't have to like Drake or respect his music. It's obvious he's doing something right as he maintains success. I'd rather make the kind of music Drake does and have his career path then make the kinda music Joe Budden did and have his career path.

Drake fans are really co-signing this behavior??? Mans spent his album debut weekend sending shots at Joe Budden on IG over an album review that wasn’t even that harsh.
the problem in your reasoning is,
Drake just doesn't want success/money/fame.
He wants to be respected by the Joes, Nas, Pushas, etc. he wants to be seen as a top tier rapper/lyricist and not just some guy who raps and sings.
if he was content w/ the lane, he wouldn't go at anybody for dissing him, he'd just do his thing.
I’ll go even further. Album getting shyt on so badly he announced a “sabbatical”. None of his idols that he looks up to or equal peers(outside cole) respects him. Can’t keep a bytch he actually wants(that rihanna line was so petty and bytchmade) Only thing he has is money and he talks about it in a way to belittle others because he’s truly miserable. When its all said and done. Drake gon be like a B up. But Budden gon be in 100 ms range. But the lifestyle and legacy of the two are not that far off.

Its not just about the money and success its about the overall life and legacy of shyt. Drake knows this, that is why he is tweakin out right now.
Both of them are birds of the highest order. The podcast at least is entertaining in a way that Drake music hasn't been. I thought it was gonna fall off heavy when Mal and Rory left, but Ish and Ice are better beyond words. I hated Flip initially but he's growing on me. Melyssa is just fine.
The instant that pod slips Joe knows he's gonna be in the line of a firing squad and it seems like he knows that.
