These children growing up typing in phones their entire lives aren't learning about paragraphs.Smh people can’t see the forest from the trees. It’s pretty simple. No artist gets to just put their songs on DSPs without approval. Which is why the question should have been on May 4th who from the label gave the green light to put out NLU. It’s not simply about it being a rap battle. Despite these guys being artist, they are a brand, they are a business. The fallout from damaging Drake’s brand has had the intended ripple effect as seen. Someone at the label or DSP had to have known what Kendrick was going to say on NLU and gave the approval. No matter what anyone says Drake is a money maker for multiple groups, so to allow a song that called him a pedo to be blasted around the whole world is telling. We all know FM a 7 minute song was not going to go viral and be played on the radio. NLU was made to be a hit and pushed as such despite the implications in the song. This never was just a rap battle. I can’t understand why people can’t wrap their head around this. I can’t even understand how most people don’t even realize how the masses have been galvanized to hate ‘Drake’ as an artist not the person, in 8 months. These blogs and podcasters all repeating the same talking points which get picked up and repeated by tik tokers. No one questions the bizarreness of all of this.

bruh I’m just trying to have a well rounded conversation with the people that’s interested. I write a lot because I try to bring a lot of context and nuance to situation at hand. I can’t help it if people in these threads go off erroneous information and inaccurate opinions. These children growing up typing in phones their entire lives aren't learning about paragraphs.
Ain't no one reading this shyt dog
You may as well have just cried in the rain.
Bruh - I actually love and respect that you want to have a spirited conversation. I'm just saying - don't ever post a block of text like that and think people are reading it.bruh I’m just trying to have a well rounded conversation with the people that’s interested. I brought many of my points up since the beef started and indicated the oddness since March. Interesting to see the same things I was questioning is becoming more relevant as time passes.

About the numbers it never made sense that Family Matters numbers were so low after it was Drake’s official response to Euphoria. There was clear suppression especially for the bigger artist. I always said if Drake is UMG’s biggest artist and they usually juice the system in his benefit why did they turn off his juice when he was getting his *ss kicked.
There is no logical reason that everyone would listen to meet the grahams and not Family Matters especially since they basically dropped 40 minutes apart. It was Drake’s big response to the beef to date. How can you have two people in a beef yet the bigger artist in terms of popularity his response is the one that gets listened to the least at that moment? It’s the equivalent of Drake dropping back to back and no one listened because Kendrick dropped another song right after. It doesn’t add up without some level of manipulation.
Yea I thought this would be unanimous. I thought regardless of who we had winning we ALL could agree this is unacceptableCan’t believe there are people defending this shyt… lol suing after a rap beef…
Y’all really have no shame.
I said suppression in terms of streaming for Family matters on the DSPs not in terms of radio. Thats why I’m saying FM was never going to get radio play being as long as it was. As you said Drake dropped a video in response to the beef. The video dropped the same time as the song. The only person in the beef to create the a video at the time, this is the climax of the battle and at the climax the narrative is that nobody decided to pay as much attention to the guy everyone’s saying was industry backed winner? This logic doesnt make sense that everyone tuned into the battle would listen to MTG and not FM. I watched on YouTube as MTG had more listens than FM. So even when we talk about the battle of public perception something is off. Only now The numbers between the two songs are more even keeled.you sure about that? Because just yesterday you said this:
So which is it, was there suppression/manipulation going on to limit Family Matters reach or was this not meant to go viral even though Drake filmed a video for it and every diss he's released has gone viral?
