It only takes spotify 1 month to accurately detect and purge bot activity.

After that first month when people tried to call him out for botting, spotify would have gladly exposed him. There’s no amount of money you could toss at Spotify to make them look the other way

Payola still exists in the industry but mostly in the form of opportunities, ads, social media influencers, radio stations, etc.

I forgot who said it but if somebody was botting and shyt, Spotify would have to pay the artists for those streams, so that wouldn't that make Spotify want to make sure that the streams are legit, especially if they're getting millions and millions of streams and shyt? If I'm wrong somebody will correct me.

So what Drake is saying is that UMG and Spotify ran up the numbers to put even more money in Kendrick's pockets?

Labels and artists draw funds from the distributor they use to upload tracks to all the dsp’s.

So yea you’re talking about multiple billion dollar entities all coming together and putting themselves at risk to help a rapper win a beef. :dead:

Drake is panicking because Kendrick is 1.5 months away from Blasting "Not like us" to 100 million+ live during the Super Bowl.

Originally I didn't care if Kendrick played not like us, now I want him to play that ahyt over and over.

But knowing Kendrick there's a good chance he doesn't play it all just to be the bigger person

They did the same after his beef with meek with views. Also first time ever adding a crazy old song streams to the first week sales with hotline bling.

He was top of every genre and being pushed to consumer
